Urgent appointments

If you are unwell and require an urgent appointment, the urgent triage list is open between 8am – 10am Monday to Friday. Please call reception between these times to request a call back. The receptionist will record your preferred contact number and arrange for a doctor to call you back to discuss your situation.

The GP will try to contact you twice in total. You will be asked to give a brief description of what the problem is. The GP will call you back and undertake an assessment of your clinical needs and on the basis of this will agree a plan with you.

Please can we ask that you are able to take the call when the GP calls back and you are available to come down to the surgery at the times the GP offers. We do not offer a walk in service and we request that if you need to be seen urgently, that you phone the practice beforehand and follow the above process.

Routine appointments

If you need to arrange a routine appointment, please call the surgery at 10.30am to arrange a telephone appointment. There will be a set number of appointments available each day, which will be bookable up to a week in advance. If the appointments available have been fully booked, you will be asked by reception to call back on another day convenient to you.

Please note the time slot booked for a telephone consultation may not be the exact time you are called by the GP. If you have booked in a morning slot the GP will try to phone you in the morning. If you have booked in an afternoon slot the GP will try to phone you in the afternoon. The GP will try to call you a couple of times.
